取樣方法
In Lake Bunyonyi, Kiruruma river and Nyamuriro wet land, the observations were made in gillnets of mesh sizes of 1-2.5 inches set to capture fish. The nets were set and retrieved after a period of at least 2hrs. In lakes Mugogo and Nkugute, the observations were made in catches of fishers using basket traps.

- The observations in Lake Bunyonyi, Nyamuriro wetland and River Kiruruma were made during a sampling event to obtain information to justify stronger conservation measures in the areas sampled. Sampling locations were selected from the areas with significance for conservation and development projects.
